Pupils from Beckley entered pieces of Art work for the annual Stormont Awards art competition at Rye Art Gallery last week. In all, 7 schools submitted 20 pieces of art work each – all based around the theme ‘Monsters’! The art work has been exhibited at the gallery and we were thrilled to hear that 5 Beckley pupils won either first of second prize in the age categories. In addition, Beckley School won the prize for the best overall school! What amazing artists we have!
