Last week, our Reception and Key Stage 1 classes performed their Nativity production to the rest of the school, then to parents and families. Over the last 5 weeks, the children and staff had been working incredibly hard to learn lines, remember dances, make costumes and paint backdrops and this all came together in the fantastic Nativity performances. It was such a joy to see our pupils acting and singing with such confidence and energy and they really captivated the audiences with their wonderful play.
Later in the week, the whole school enjoyed our traditional Christmas Craft morning, where each class spent time making a range of wonderful Christmas crafts. Each class had help from parents who came into school and made paper chains, glued snowflakes, decorated reindeers and so on!
To the great delight of all the children, there was a lovely surprise from a very special visitor in the afternoon! Each child received a personalised gift from him and his elf helpers. Ho, ho , ho!
