In October, Beckley School were awarded the prestigous ‘Sportsmark Gold’ award for our commitment to PE activities and sports. The Gold award is based on the number of pupils participating in extra-curricular sports clubs, the number of sports competitions and events the school has taken part in, the number of pupil involved in leading and organising sports activities and the links that the school has to local sports clubs. We are delighted that so many of our children take part in a wide range of sports activities throughout the year and want to say a big ‘thank you’ to Mr Bourne, our Sports Coach for all the work he does.
