Red Maple pupils recently visited a Fire Station in Hastings to learn about fire safety in the home and to find out more about the different things fire fighters do in their jobs. 
Children all had a go at using the water hoses and saw the large turntable ladders in action. The firefighters were really impressed by the understanding of fire safety in the home that the Red Maple pupils showed and complimented the class on their outstanding behaviour. What a great trip, Red Maple!
