The rumours were true! Today, we had a VERY special visitor at Beckley…FATHER CHRISTMAS!

This morning, pupils had been joined by a band of parent volunteers in each class, helping staff with the Christmas-themes crafts being made by the pupils. Crafts ranged from sparkling pine cones to snowman paper-chains and Christmas fridge magnets. There was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the school as the children and adults enjoyed working away in their Christmas jumpers, creating their crafts for their families, whilst listening to Christmas music.

In the afternoon, the children were incredibly excited to discover that Father Christmas had visited the school and was spending the time meeting each child to give them a present. It was lovely to spend time really enjoying Christmas as a school community, Huge thanks must go to the staff and in particular, the BSA parents for organising such a wonderful day!
