Just before the end of the summer term, Beckley had it’s Summer celebration. The BSA organised and ran this brilliant event with games, stalls, challenges, crafts, cakes and even circus skills for people to enjoy and have fun with, whilst raising money for the school at the same time! All the pupils and their parents and families had great fun in the glorious sunshine enjoying all the stalls and activities, run by an army of fantastic parent volunteers who are part of our amazing  BSA team. A fantastic total of just under £1500 was raised through everyone’s generosity.

This was the last BSA event for two key members – Katie and Lauren, as they are both stepping down from their roles as Chair and Treasurer of the BSA after many years of amazing service. We are so grateful for all they have both done!

One of the most popular events running was ‘Splat the Headteacher’ – with Mr Thurston going into the stocks for pupils to throw wet sponges at.

‘I have no idea why this was so popular,’ said Mr T.

Erm…I think  rest of us do!
