On Friday, Beckley held our annual Pink Day! For the last few years, the school has held a Pink day to help raise money for Breast Cancer Now, a breast cancer research and support charity. Children and adults had the opportunity to make a donation and come to school, wearing something (or everything!) pink. Pink socks, pink hair, pink t-shirts, pink finger nails, pink dresses – pink everything were all on show as the school community really embraced the occasion.  At the end of the day, there was a cake sale to boost the fundraising. Overall,  about £500 was raised – an incredible amount! Well done to everyone who entered into the spirit of the day and a big thank you to Mrs Ongley and Lauren for organising it all!
